Updated: 1 day ago

Welcome to the very first edition of our new monthly blog! We're so excited to give you a peek behind the curtain and share what we’ve been up to.

Tickets are now Live for The Nutcracker!

It just wouldn't be Christmas without it! The Nutcracker is a magical ballet that delights audiences all over the world every single year. We're proud to be bringing Wales’s only full-scale professional production of this festive classic to the stage, featuring over 80 dancers and a live orchestra.

Our performances are at Theatr Brycheiniog from 19th to 21st December 2025. Tickets always sell out fast, so be sure to grab yours now before they're gone!

Audition Magic!

What a amazing few week’s it's been! The energy at our recent auditions for young performers was absolutely electric. The talent on show was simply incredible, and we can’t thank everyone enough for bringing so much passion and enthusiasm into the studio. It’s always an incredibly exciting and equally hard day because the standards are so high, and rehearsals are already off to a great start!

Following on from the fantastic children’s auditions we also had a great day for our community cast auditions, we are so lucky to have such a talented community, it was so lovely to see familiar and new faces.

Our next auditions are just around the corner:
🎶 Choir: Sunday, 9 November
It’s an amazing opportunity to perform alongside professional dancers and musicians in our annual show, so make sure you don't miss out!

A Hero in Our Midst: Evie-Rae!
We have to give the biggest shout-out to the amazing Evie-Rae! She raised a whopping £545 for Brecon Festival Ballet by walking up Pen y Fan not once, but twice in a single day! Wow! We are so incredibly grateful and proud of her. Evie-Rae is passionate about ballet, and her fundraising efforts are helping our small charity provide opportunities for local people to experience ballet training and professional theatre.

You can still show your support and read her inspiring story on her Just Giving page. Thank you, Evie-Rae!
