A look at rehearsals!
A huge thank you to Amy Azais for these incredible photos from rehearsals!
We are so excited to have our principal dancers back in the studio, getting ready to bring the magic to the stage for this year's production of The Nutcracker!
The entire cast, from the youngest dancers to the seasoned professionals, is working tirelessly to perfect every detail of their performances. The synergy between the dancers is palpable, creating a beautiful tapestry of movement that tells the timeless tale of Clara and her journey through the magical land of sweets. Each rehearsal is a blend of hard work and creativity, as the dancers collaborate to ensure that every scene is as enchanting as the last. The production team is equally dedicated, meticulously crafting the stunning sets and costumes that will transport the audience into the whimsical world of The Nutcracker... we can't wait to share more soon!
Spotlight On: Georgia Smart
Georgia joined Brecon Festival Ballet in 2021 when she performed the Columbine Doll and covered the role of Clara. She made her debut as Clara in the full-length Nutcracker in 2023 and we’re delighted to see Georgia perform this role again this year in 2025.

Spotlight On: Isaac Bowry
Isaac is an experienced dancer with several companies, including many productions with Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures.
Isaac made his debut with Brecon Festival Ballet in 2024, performing the lead role of The Nutcracker/Nathaniel, and we are delighted to welcome him back this year.

Our merchandise includes the classic BFB logo and beautiful line drawings of our professional dancers in rehearsal, by BFB resident artist Phil Clark. We also have clothing, notebooks and more perfect for gifts!
Every purchase directly supports Brecon Festival Ballet, helping us keep the magic of dance alive in our community.
